Former delinquent turned unconventional prosecutor Kohei Kuryu shakes up the legal world with his street-smart instincts and unorthodox style, clashing with ambitious colleague Maiko Amamiya while his relentless pursuit of justice gradually transforms those around him.
Kuryu raises five other past similar cases in court in which the suspect is Nagumo Toshiyuki. Prosecutors from Josai Branch seek help from Kokubu Hideo who was the prosecutor in charge of the first case 15 years ago. Although prosecutors from other branches are against their actions, they never give up and just work harder.
