Young general Petar Petrović Karađorđe is given the task of leading a small-scale revolt against the Turkish occupiers, knowing full-well that this might end up being the mission that will lead him to his doom, forcing him to fight on two battlefields. However, neither him nor his troops nor even his enemies suspect that this event signifies the birth of modern Serbia.
